The poems written in this book portray my personal experience and shed some light on a few observations I have made about different types of issues in today’s society. Through my poems, I hope to give some insight into both my opinions and my mind. By writing about these topics and sharing them with the world, I aim to spread knowledge and awareness, with the hope of reducing stigmas and taboos surrounding mental health-related topics. I want to let anyone reading this know that they’re seen, heard, and loved. You are not alone; we are in this together. Everyone keeps secrets that are hidden close to the heart and kept away from the mind. If you share these secrets, you might just find someone who understands them and lets you know that you’re not crazy. In this way, we can confer love upon each other. So, let’s spread that love, as any love sent out to the universe will be returned.
