Creating Global Bonds, Grade 12

-Offers an interdisciplinary, three-lesson module using project- and problem-based learning to help students create an action plan to address issues of energy consumption and climate change, exploring the topic at both local and global levels by working with international student partners.

-Written and developed for twelfth grade/high school teachers, the book offers lesson plans guiding students to gather and analyze data on energy consumption and climate change in their communities, share those findings with international student partners and publish their results on an international blog, and to design and present an action plan (including a white paper and presentation) that explores the issues locally and internationally.

-Anchored in the Next Generation Science Standards, the Common Core State Standards, and the Framework for 21st Century Learning, which can be used in full or in part to meet the needs of districts, schools and teachers charting a course toward an integrated STEM approach.
