The career of producer, composer and arranger Craig Leon is so vast it defies summary. Leon has devoted much of his later career to the realm of classical, electronic avant-garde and film music. Fifty years ago Leon produced, along with seminal records by Blondie, Suicide and many others, the self-titled debut of that New York band Ramones. This record would forever redefine the landscape of popular music both in the US and Europe. This is his memoir of the band and the recording.
