Truth and Consequences

This work draws on current analytic philosophy to resuscitate the notion of objective truth and intentionalist models of meaning and interpretation, thereby moving beyond the antifoundationalism of postmodern theory. It demonstrates how damaging anti-objectivism has been for literary studies.
